4th Annual Watershed Festival
Friday, June 27, 2008 1-6PM
Wallowa County Fairgrounds, Enterprise

Visitors enjoy the educational booths at the Festival

The Watershed Festival is the culmination of Wallowa Resources' education and outreach programs. We set aside a day during the summer to celebrate our mountains, canyons, forests, rivers, lakes, animals, grasslands, and people. Wallowa Resources coordinates and sponsors this event in partnership with the Wallowa Valley Music Alliance and the Wallowa County Fair Board.

Visitors enjoy hands-on educational exhibits, live local music, and free grass-fed beef hamburgers donated by our board members.

Come enjoy the fun activities, including:

• building a bird-house,
• viewing a live Golden Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, Peregrine Falcon, and Great Horned Owl up close,
• entering our Pie Baking Contest at 4PM: Entry Form and Judging Criteria,
• fishing for Rainbow Trout in a fishing pond (provided by the Nez Perce Tribe Fisheries),
• taking home a Ponderosa Pine sapling,
• dunking some local characters in the dunking tank,
• and much, much more . . . while listening to great live tunes and soaking up the sun!

Join us for this year's festivities on Friday, June 27th from 1-6PM at the Wallowa County Fairgrounds in Enterprise.
