Dr. James B. (Jim) Henson is an Emeritus Professor at Washington State University, where he occupied faculty and administrative positions. He has worked extensively in multiple countries in education, research, and economic, institutional and human resource development. He has helped establish and operate many sustainable agriculture, educational, and environmental programs, including the Water and Environment Center at the University of Jordan and Total Land Care, a non-governmental organization in Malawi, Africa, that deals with natural resources, economies and community benefits in rural settings.
He owns and operates a ranch in the northeastern part of Wallowa County.
